Whatt is MMP?
MeridianComplete is a Medicare-Medicaid Plan (MMP) for people eligible for both Medicaid and Medicare. MeridianComplete is Meridian's partnership with the MI Health Link program. MI Health Link is a program that will allow you to get health care and services covered by Medicare and Medicaid. MI Health Link lets you use one plan and one card for health care, behavioral health care, home and community-based services, nursing home care and medications.
What is Medicaid?
Medicaid is a joint federal and state program that helps with medical costs for some people with limited income and resources. Each state has different rules about eligibility and applying for Medicaid.
To find out if you qualify in the states we offer Medicaid plans, select your state below or call Meridian Member Services at 888-437-0606. Once you're approved, you can select Meridian as your health care plan provider through your state.
What is Medicaid Expansion?
The Affordable Care Act provides states with additional federal funding to expand their Medicaid programs to cover adults under 65 with income up to 133% of the federal poverty level.
If your state has expanded Medicaid, your options depend on your income and household size. See this chart for income limits for different family sizes.
What is Marketplace?
The Health Insurance Marketplace (Marketplace) was established as part of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and Health Insurance Reform. The Marketplace is where individuals, families and businesses can shop for affordable insurance coverage to meet your requirements of the ACA. Individuals, families, and small employers can compare, choose, and buy affordable health plans. You only need to fill out one application to see your options and to enroll in a health plan. People are also directed to Medicaid, the government health insurance program, if they are eligible.
