Grand Rapids, MI
The Salvation Army is partnering with Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) and several health organizations to help Michiganders with the renewal process for their Medicaid benefits. Redetermination of Medicaid coverage restarted this year due to federal legislation, after being paused during the COVID-19 pandemic. The event will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, September 30, at The Salvation Army Kroc Center in Grand Rapids which is located at 2500 Division Avenue South. “The Salvation Army Harbor Light System is a champion for individuals and families who often don’t get the health care services they need,” said Harbor Light System Executive Director Jamie Winkler. “This event is aimed at building awareness and offering practical assistance to ensure that eligible individuals continue to receive the vital healthcare benefits they need.
