Increased Duplicate Denials when Submitting through ClaimsMD and Availity

Dear Providers,

We are sharing this communication to raise awareness of a potential issue that may be impacting claims submitted through ClaimsMD to our Availity platform for FFS (Fee-for-Service) submission.

What You Need to Know:

Through internal monitoring and escalations, we've identified a potential system issue when claims are submitted through ClaimsMD. Providers who utilize Availity and ClaimsMD may be seeing an increased volume of duplicate claim denials from Meridian.

This bulletin is for your awareness as we continue to investigate further. We are actively working with Availity and the clearinghouse to determine the root cause and identify mitigation steps to resolve the issue quickly.
