Cost Savings for Members

Using in-network labs helps reduce the risk that our members will be charged out-of-pocket expenses.

June 3, 2025

We’d like to remind and encourage all providers to utilize our in-network and preferred laboratory partners when ordering lab services for members.

Why This Matters:

  • Cost Savings for Members: Using in-network labs helps reduce out-of-pocket expenses for our members.
  • Streamlined Claims Processing: Claims are more likely to be processed quickly and accurately when labs are in-network.
  • Improved Care Coordination: Preferred labs have established connectivity with our systems, ensuring faster turnaround times and seamless sharing of results.

What You Can Do:

  • Confirm that the lab is in-network before sending orders.
  • Educate clinical and administrative staff on preferred lab locations and ordering processes.
  • See below for an up-to-date list of preferred lab partners.
  • For electronic orders, select an in-network lab when using your EMR or lab ordering platform.
