What do you enjoy most about working with providers?
I truly enjoy working with providers because it allows me to play a meaningful role in impacting patient care, which is something I value deeply. Being part of a process that ultimately improves outcomes and supports patients is incredibly rewarding to me. I also thrive in collaborative environments and appreciate the opportunity to work closely with both internal teams and external partners to achieve shared goals. Through these partnerships, I am able to build strong relationships, exchange ideas, and contribute to well-rounded solutions. Additionally, I value the continuous learning that comes from working with providers; their expertise and perspectives challenge me to grow, expand my knowledge, and stay adaptable in an ever-evolving field.
What motivates you in your work?
I am driven by the ability to contribute meaningful outcomes, particularly when my work supports and enhances the quality of patient care. I find energy in working alongside providers and cross-functional partners, where shared perspectives lead to thoughtful solutions and stronger results. What do you enjoy most about working with providers?
I enjoy being an intentional, consistent, and reliable point of contact for providers and their teams, earning trust by following through and resolving complex issues. Working with providers requires close coordination with internal teams (credentialing, claims, contracting, operations), and I love being the bridge that keeps everyone aligned and accountable. Relationship building is one of my favorite parts of this role, and meeting with providers regularly helps maintain that trust and bond.
What motivates you in your work?
As an Account Manager, I own the provider relationship end to end, and I enjoy being accountable for the entire provider experience. Relationship building and upkeep are my top priorities, and at the end of the day, the more administrative burden I can take off providers, the more they can focus on what’s truly important, patient care. Whether it is seeing a provider through enrollment, resolving a claims concern, or meeting regularly with providers, it is rewarding to see real outcomes from the work we do.

What do you enjoy most about working with providers?
I am passionate about supporting providers throughout every stage of the process, from initial onboarding to ongoing partnership. I take pride in delivering a seamless, supportive experience and value the role clear, consistent communication plays in achieving that. Building strong relationships is at the core of my work. I enjoy collaborating directly with offices and meeting with teams to ensure they feel confident, supported, and well cared for. My goal is always to create trust, foster connection, and ensure every provider knows they are in good hands.
What motivates you in your work?
What motivates me to work is the opportunity to support providers from start to finish and make a meaningful impact on their experience. I’m driven by being a reliable resource, someone they can count on for clear communication, guidance, and consistency. Building strong relationships is especially motivating to me. I enjoy connecting with offices, collaborating with teams, and creating an environment where people feel supported and confident. What do you enjoy most about working with providers?
I enjoy building strong relationships with the provider partners I support and engaging with them regularly to close gaps and improve the provider and member experience. I value working with people and connecting with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
What motivates you in your work?
I am motivated by the opportunity to support vulnerable populations who may not always receive the care and resources they deserve. It is especially rewarding to be part of a team that can make a meaningful impact by connecting individuals with essential services.
Christin Kasprowicz | Lead Provider Engagement Account Manager
What is your current role, and what do you oversee?
Oversees complex provider escalations related to provider data accuracy, credentialing, and claims resolution. Responsible for coordinating with internal teams and provider groups to resolve issues, address recurring operational challenges, and provide consistent, hands-on support as needed. This work supports strong provider partnerships, accurate issue resolution, and ongoing improvement in provider operations.
What do you enjoy most about working with providers?
I am a critical thinker and teacher by nature, and I value the opportunity to work closely with providers while leading the resolution of complex or ongoing concerns. I understand how frustrating unresolved issues can be for providers and how they can create administrative burden and financial challenges. It is rewarding and truly a win win when we can efficiently and thoroughly resolve issues so providers can focus on what matters most delivering

I find purpose in advocating for providers and elevating recurring concerns to internal teams this allows us to improve processes, expand provider supports, and create a stronger, more seamless provider experience.

What is your current role, and what do you oversee?
Supports the Provider Engagement pillar of Provider Relations as a Senior Provider Engagement Network Specialist. Oversees internal form submissions, manages and distributes the Provider Engagement Inventory Tracker, and leads ESRD outreach efforts. Responsibilities also include coordinating site visits, monitoring and responding to provider meeting requests, taking meeting minutes as needed, and completing follow up for provider related state complaints submitted through ServiceNow.
What do you enjoy most about working with providers?
I enjoy listening to providers, clarifying complex issues, and helping them navigate processes such as claims, credentialing, contracts, and portal use so they feel supported and have a clear path to resolution.
What motivates you in your work?
I’m motivated by the opportunity to improve the provider experience by listening, taking ownership, and bringing clarity to complex, cross department issues so providers feel supported and unstuck.
Tania Mitchell | Senior Provider Engagement Network Specialist

What is your current role, and what do you oversee?
Oversees Smartsheet workflows and assigns provider relation inquiries to the appropriate subject matter experts. Reviews all inquiries submitted through the Provider Relations intake process to ensure accuracy and completeness, and provides guidance for resubmission when corrections are needed. Also responsible for exporting inquiry data files to support project management reporting and data analysis.
What do you enjoy most about working with providers?
For the interactions I do have with providers, I thoroughly enjoy being able to respond with clear, complete direction on how their issues can be reviewed and resolved. My eyes are the first to review each inquiry before it is assigned to the applicable SME, so knowing that I can review submissions to help avoid delays in processing is very satisfying. Additionally, while I am providing education, I am also learning from providers about potential larger issues occurring across the network, which can then be elevated to leadership.
What motivates you in your work?
Currently, I am motivated by the data. My day to day tasks ensure that we stay within Service Level Agreements by assigning all work to the applicable Subject Matter Experts to get the clock started and responses back to our providers. In addition, I am also motivated by my peers. The ability to provide responses using the data I work with keeps me engaged and motivated in what I do.
What is your current role, and what do you oversee?
Supports Provider Engagement within Provider Relations by managing assigned provider relationships and serving as a key point of contact for education and issue resolution. Responsible for addressing provider inquiries submitted through the Provider Relations intake process and coordinating timely resolution. Also supports Provider Data Operations by downloading and securely transferring provider enrollment and update submissions to ensure accurate data processing.
What do you enjoy most about working with providers?
One of the things that truly stands out for me is the opportunity to build strong relationships. I find it rewarding to connect with providers, understand their unique needs, and support them in meaningful ways. Every interaction is a chance to make a positive impact, and I really enjoy being part of that process.
What motivates you in your work?
I find a lot of meaning in supporting providers and working through their challenges. I find it rewarding to be able to help resolve their issues, knowing that each solution can make a real difference in their day-to-day work. That sense of purpose keeps me driven and passionate about the work we do every day.
What is your current role, and what do you oversee?
Assists with provider escalations and meeting coordination while supporting key backend functions within Provider Relations. Responsibilities include provider education, training initiatives, policy review, development of provider facing materials, provider satisfaction outreach, and coordination of state level provider escalations to support clear communication and effective provider engagement.
What do you enjoy most about working with providers?
What I enjoy most about working with providers is having the opportunity to listen to their concerns and help them navigate some of the complexities that come with working with insurance. It is rewarding knowing I was able to make someone’s day a little easier.

Angelique Cooper | Senior Provider Engagement Network Specialist

What is your current role, and what do you oversee?
Serves as a Senior Provider Engagement Network Specialist focused on provider engagement, operational support, and cross functional collaboration. Oversees internal Provider Inquiry Form submissions, supports outreach initiatives such as the ESRD project, and coordinates provider requested meetings, trainings, and working sessions, including education on the provider portal and PR Inquiry Form. Responsibilities also include supporting urgent care site visits, maintaining the urgent care new site visit tracker with daily leadership updates, leading monthly provider webinars, and contributing to METS and other outreach initiatives. Oversees Adult Foster Care payment coordination and reporting in partnership with Finance and conducts quarterly outreach to AFC providers. Additionally, serves as a leader within the MOSAIC Inclusion group, supporting initiatives that promote inclusion, engagement, and professional growth across the organization.

What I enjoy most about working with providers is knowing that the support I give them directly impacts the members and communities we serve. I’m passionate about helping providers navigate challenges, strengthen collaboration, and remove barriers so they can stay focused on delivering high quality, compassionate care. Being part of work that ultimately improves member outcomes is what motivates me every day.

Rebecca Daxenbichler | Vice President, Operations
Rebecca is a seasoned managed care executive with more than 11 years of experience across implementation, product development, and business operations, with specialized expertise in claims processing and provider data management. Rebecca holds a master’s degree in Health Care Administration and Public Policy from the University of Missouri.
Rebecca began her career with Centene in January 2015 within Shared Services, where she led implementation project management initiatives and served as Director of Medicare Annual Enrollment Period and readiness efforts. In 2018, she transitioned to Business Operations, leading Medicare claims configuration initiatives across the enterprise. In 2024, Rebecca joined Meridian Health Plan of Michigan as Vice President of Operations, bringing a strong enterprise and market-focused perspective to the organization.
In her current role, Rebecca is a multidisciplinary operations leader overseeing market operations across Claims, Provider Data, Network and Contracting, Vendor Management, Marketing and Community Outreach, and Provider Relations. She is recognized for driving operational excellence, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and delivering scalable solutions that enhance both member and provider experiences.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Rebecca serves as a board member for the Lake Saint Louis Community Association and is actively involved in philanthropic efforts supporting the Ronald McDonald House and the St. Louis Food Pantry. She is an avid water skier and is happily married, raising two active teenagers.

The work is most meaningful to me when I can help reduce friction, clarify next steps, and ensure providers feel heard, supported, and valued. I enjoy working with providers because it gives me the opportunity to build strong relationships, solve complex challenges, and create meaningful improvements that positively impact both providers and the members they serve. I especially enjoy opportunities to simplify processes, improve communication, and seek opportunities to develop proactive solutions to strengthen collaboration. The most rewarding part of my role is being able to bridge the operational strategy with provider experience to drive improvements.
